Adjusted Level 4 of Covid-19 Lockdown requires that we continue to adhere to the protocols as set down by Government. These have been tightened again in terms of the numbers that may attend. We will feel our way into how activities are now permitted. The fine for our church and the criminal record for offending individuals should not be overlooked.
We are offering coffee, tea and cake after the services. We ask that everyone who uses this offered facility takes careful cognisance of their own health and the health of others. We ask that you use the sanitiser provided and that you DO NOT LEAVE YOUR CUP STANDING AROUND but hold onto it until it is empty and then place it in the basin of hot, soapy water to soak.
We ask that everyone embrace these precautions as we have many older members in our Community who are at risk. If you feel sick or run a fever, please refrain from coming to the Sunday Service or Community Gathering for at least 10 days or until you feel healthy again.
- Chairs remain apart to comply with social distancing regulations.
- All congregants are asked to sanitise their hands prior to entering the church.
- Everyone who enters and exits the church should remember to wear a mask.
- We ask that congregants fill in a Register of Attendance with their contact details and temperature.

IMPORTANT NOTICE FOR ANYONE ATTENDING A SERVICE
Dear community members and friends,
Reingard and The Board of Trustees would like to share the following information with you now that we are able to once again celebrate The Act of Consecration of Man together in our church.
We contemplate a new way of approaching many areas of our lives as well as a ‘spiritual procedure’ which will enhance the ‘physical protocol’, and also bring new awareness to our being in the church.

- The night before, decide if you will be attending the service the next morning and what intention you will be bringing into it; maybe also, whom you are ‘inviting’ to come with you (someone who is ill, needing attention, has died; grateful for, love)
- Arrive at the church in good time. Be seated before 10am. Tune into inner silence.
- The service begins punctually at 10:00.
- There can be no individual Communion passed out for the time being.
- When the candles have been snuffed, please respect the space and others by holding the silence and not speaking in the chapel. When you are ready, leave being mindful of the distancing protocol.
Purpose – Context – Physical Protocol
The lockdown level has been reduced to Level 1.
We are aware of our responsibility to protect our community, their families, as well as the general public from the spread of the virus. We also acknowledge the presence of many elderly folk, and others in our congregation who are particularly vulnerable to the effects of the virus due to medical conditions and hence need careful consideration and special protection. We are also aware of the fact that some friends and members may choose to remain at home with a clear conscience due to the concerns inherent in meeting together.
Government has released the following rules that must be applied to our church services:
We plan to comply with these directives, as well as to ensure that we do everything reasonably practicable to protect the health of our congregation.
Please observe the following procedures:

Government has released the following rules that must be applied to our church services:
- No more than half the number of congregants the church can accommodate per service. To comply, the chairs in the church have been appropriately spaced.
- Everyone attending will have to wear a face mask.
- We must put protocols in place to, among other things, thoroughly clean and sanitise the church before services.
- Introduce physical distancing rules.
- Under ordinary circumstances, where everyone wears a mask, congregants will be required to stay at least 1.5 meters away from one another.
We plan to comply with these directives, as well as to ensure that we do everything reasonably practicable to protect the health of our congregation.
- Ensure that people can enter and exit without congestion or excessive crowding.
- Compile and keep a register of all service attendees with details such as names, (addresses and telephone numbers).
- Plan and conduct the service so as to minimise risk and exposure.
- Communicate regularly on any changes, or other important information regarding our services.
Please observe the following procedures:
- wash your hands before arriving and sanitise your hands on entering the church.
- Report to the register desk to provide your details on entry.
- Wear your mask as you enter the premises and keep your mask on at all times.
- Observe social distancing.
- The preparation of the church has included thorough cleaning of all spaces. Doors, windows, handles, chairs and cushions have been washed and/or sanitised. Even the pianos have been cleaned.
